How do I drop a waypoint?

Press and hold anywhere on the map. A sheet will open letting you name the spot, add a note, and pick a category (Surf, Work, Stay, Food, Nature, Photo Spot, Beach, Nightlife).

Why can't I drop more pins?

Free accounts can drop up to 5 waypoints. Upgrade to WaypointNomad Pro to drop unlimited waypoints.

What do I get with WaypointNomad Pro?

• All pins unlocked (including legendary spots)
• Unlimited waypoints
• Unlimited comments
• See which nomads have checked in at each spot
• Plan a Trip — curated itineraries by destination

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app, then:

1. Tap your name at the top
2. Tap Subscriptions
3. Tap WaypointNomad
4. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

My subscription didn't unlock Pro features.

Open the WaypointNomad paywall and tap "Restore Purchases." If that doesn't work, contact the developer at the email above with your Apple receipt.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for your purchase.

My waypoints aren't showing.

Try these in order:

1. Pull down to refresh the feed
2. Check your internet connection
3. Close and reopen the app
4. If the issue continues, contact the developer

How do I delete a waypoint I dropped?

Tap your waypoint, then tap the trash icon in the popup. You can only delete waypoints you created.

How do I delete my account?

Email the developer from the email associated with your account. We'll delete your account and associated personal information within 30 days.

Does WaypointNomad track my location?

Only while the app is open and only to show nearby waypoints and distances. We never track location in the background. You can revoke location access anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > WaypointNomad.

Why are some pins "locked"?

Legendary pins — waypoints that have received exceptional community votes — are available to Pro subscribers. Free users get a small number of free legendary unlocks.

What categories can I drop pins under?

Surf, Work, Stay, Food, Nature, Photo Spot, Beach, and Nightlife.
